John Singer Sargent, Carnation Lily Lily Rose
Today I flipped over my Met Museum calendar (Which I look forward to each day!) and it was Madame X by American artist John Singer Sargent.
I first became a J. Singer Sargent fan when I saw the painting Carnation, Lily, Lily, Rose in the museum. I love the image of the girls lighting the garden lanterns.
