Arts and crafts movement= William Morris.

William Morris was a leading member of the Arts and crafts movement in the nineteen hundreds. The arts and crafts movement was a reaction to the poor quality of life in the Industrial Revolution, they believed that the growth of the design industry had destroyed the traditional skills and had taken away the pride one feels when producing their own work. William Morris was an artist, designer, printer, typographer, bookbinder, craftsman, poet and writer. He believed that nature was the perfect example of gods design, which is why most of his work has alot of floral prints and wildlife such as birds. I think that his work is fun, energetic and gives you that spring time feeling that we all love, but i dont think i would want to have his art work as a wallpaper in my room for very long, as it would probably make me a little dizzy.
