My girlfriend Raquel brought me this great book...

 I love Maira's style, use of color and composition.

cover of The New Yorker.

 The Hilton Waikoloa has sculptures around the grounds.

This is only a small sample of what they have.

The Buddha on the hill was one of my favorites

It looks bigger in the above photo, than it actually is.

Pressed Flowers

Found these cards in a gallery.

 Each Fair Trade card is handmade with real 

pressed wild flowers from women in El Salvador.

Hotel or Museum?

 One of the hotels we stayed at was Hilton Waikoloa Village.

 This resort has an art collection of more than 1800 pieces. It is amazing.

Everywhere you turn there is beautiful art. 

There was a good mix of sculpture and paintings

 I really enjoyed this hotel.
