CLEANING OUT MY CLOSET // BLOG SALE

Hey Ladies!

Yes, you read the heading correctly. I'm going to have a blog sale in the next week or two.

Everything will be showcased here, but sold through my eBay site/screen name. It's just easier that way.

I figured I'd give my readers a heads up first... Because I'm nice like that :)

So, what does this mean for you??

It means stay tuned!!!

Bombshell

Top: Charlotte Russe --- Belt: Thrifted --- Skirt: Etsy/bomshellbettiesvint --- Shoes: GoJane --- Clutch: F21
I got this skirt a few days ago from Bombshell Bettie's Vintage on Etsy. That means I'm a bombshell, right?* It's super lovely and has the cutest purple and pink-ish floral design on it. My favorite part is that the background is gray, so I'll be able to wear this one year round because it fits into practically any season. I follow Nicole's blog, and I was lucky enough to spy her post on a 50% off sale, so I got it for a great price.

*It's OK, you don't have to answer that and hurt my feelings. :)
If you haven't yet, check out the Brydferth bobby pin giveaway. 1 week left to enter!

It's Memorial Day weekend, which means there are sales out the wazoo right now. That darn Joni James found the Earthies I've been lusting after on Piperlime for nearly 50% off and just had to send me the link, so now I'm having a mental war waging in my head over whether or not to get them.

3. Then I was looking at Michelle's blog and she posted about some cute shoes at American Eagle that are already on sale, and American Eagle is having BOGO 50% off on shoes, PLUS they're having a 30% off everything and free shipping sale this weekend. So I could get 2 pairs of these cute shoes, which were originally $50 each, for $31.46 total. Normally I wouldn't be too tempted by American Eagle stuff, but the colors of these shoes are freaking adorable. I'm thinking about getting the red and mustard pairs:

Long story short: I am addicted to shoes. I'm really hoping I resist, but I'm not feeling particularly willful this morning. Pray for me, friends.

ModCloth Sale

ModCloth is having a big "Cabin Fever Sale", and the prices are really quite reasonable. I just ordered these lovelies:
Rose at Dusk Skirt. Originally $49.99 on sale for $14.99.
(L) Spiced Wine Coat. Originally $99.99 on sale for $29.99
(R) Charming Correspondence Coat. Originally $102.99 on sale for $30.99

I'm so stinking excited to get them!

I will be able to wear the skirt right away and throughout the summer. The coats might have to wait until the fall (well, seeing as it snowed today maybe I'll probably still be able to wear them for a while now), but I kind of don't think that coats are going to go out of style within the next few months. I saw some cute dresses for super cheap, but most of them were pretty stylized and I had a feeling that they won't be so cute any more come next year. So I stuck to the basics and got a fabulous deal. If those coats are even half as gorgeous as they look, I will be a happy girl.

So what are you waiting for? Go shop!

ModCloth Holiday Sale

I know I spend a lot of time throwing ModCloth under the bus for charging so much for their items when other shops seem to be able to sell the same item for far less, but I genuinely do like them and wish very much that I had more money to spend there. I went to their site today to hunt for more duplicates for my next Here Not There post, and saw they are having a "Tis' the Season" sale in which many of their dresses and other items have been marked down significantly. So if you were ever going to buy stuff from ModCloth, now would be the most appropriate time to do so.

A small sampling:

Pretty decent prices, no? $37 for a pair of boots that cute is actually (dare I say it?) reasonable. You should do sales like this more often, MC, and you and I will get along better.

BANANA REPUBLIC 12HR SALE!!!

Remember those heels that a certain awesome someone found and told me about last month??

Well I sure do.

And well remember how they were a whopping (out of my then and now current budget) $120?
Oh, yeah, I remember that too...

Well, those lovely ladies are on sale today for $99, and luckily for me ONLY available in size 11!

Today must be a good day for me, shoes, and Banana Republic, because BR is having a special 12 hour sale today offering 30% off on all items!! Get Excited!!

Even though I promised not to spend any excess money this month on frivolous items I decided to break my promise to myself for this one thing.

With the sale price and the 30% off I was able to snag these lovelies for $82.38...

See:

An extra $7.00 for shipping and damn Georgia tax ($5.39) bumped up my price a little bit, but overall I am very happy with my purchase.

Some time next week, after I arrive in Georgia, these lovelies, I mean Romona, will arrive on my, I mean my brother's, doorstep.

Yay Sales!!

LET ME COUNT THE WAYS...

Working in Towson this evening...

well really I'm browsing the internet for shoes and catching up on/watching The Real Housewives of New York City

...in between customers of course. :)

Well in the midst of my shoe searching, housewife watching, and customer serving I received a picture message from the wonderful Mr.A... it went a little something like this:

He's awesome... and knows me so well!

Ladies and Germs... May I introduce you to the Banana Republic Ramona Heel. Available in size 11 (THANK YOU JESUS!), unfortunately NOT on sale ($102.00--eek!), BUT seemingly just the heel that I have been looking for.

To wait for a sale or buy retail...
my credit card knows the real answer to that question.

Ahem (as I blog)... Mr.A just texted me another pair...

He might have just lost some points...

Don't get me wrong, other than the gap in the wedge, these are kinda cute Guess heels. Except for the thingies on the side. I don't like those do-dads holding the leather on.

Haha.
