Last night I sat down and watched the local news, it was awful! I left feeling depressed and hopeless. Local dysfunction and despair. There wasn't anything uplifting or interesting.
Is it necessary to know about all of the beatings and murders? Does it make us safer? It just makes me want to crawl in a hole.
