I think I have a think for pencil skirts.

Or I just have trouble finding pants that are long enough.

Both are true.

Plus, Skirts are just SO MUCH MORE easier to work with.

If I could remember which days I wore what I would share, but little details like that are unimportant, plus I really can't remember. :/ Oh well. How about I just tell you where everything is from? That's not too difficult, or taxing on my brain :)

COOTD CASUAL ROUND UP

This week has been a little bit...

I'm not quite sure exactly how to describe this week.

I've overloaded on caffeine, finished my paper for grad school (FINALLY), realized my ass has increased in size due to my stress, lack of time for exercise, and horrible food consumption over the last 2 months..
Oh, and Friday I had a flat tire :(

On the other hand, my outfits for the liquor store have been pretty decent, considering I had to run to Target today and buy my lard ass a new pair of jeans, that I literally WORE OUT OF THE STORE because the ones that I had on today... well they just weren't cutting it (in my opinion).

I did learn that Target jeans are pretty damn comfy, and as a last minute/mad dash purchase (I was in and out of the store in 8 minutes), work out pretty well. I'll have to see how long these last.

COOTD TJMAXX SCORES

Just playing catch-up on a few COOTD posts...

Here are two tops I scored from T.J. Maxx last week (I picked up a few more things, but I'll share those later).

The first top I can remember the label (I'll have to get off my lazy butt and find out what it is BECAUSE I LOVE IT!)...
but the second top--I remember that one--it is Calvin Klein Jeans... and I LOVE IT a lot too :) Very similar to tops I've seen, and coveted, on Shopbop recently :) Talk about a score!!!

Here is an up-close of the bracelet stacking...

Left to Right: Gifted bangle for my Bday last summer, Twisted (mini) cuff from the beach (about 5 years ago), Linked heart bracelet (from the beach as well, and one that I share with my friend Sum--that both her sister and her niece also picked up the next summer at the beach), J Crew bracelet from Diana from the Bistro as my Christmas gift (Miss You Georgia Friend!), a single silver bangle, and another twisted bangle (from my ex's parents for my birthday one year).

I tend to carry it over into my work outfit for the liquor store, but sometimes when I go nap at home (in between jobs) I forget to put all my jewelry back on :(

This top has gold zippers on the shoulders--that actually zip to increase or decrease the size of the boat neck.

Just one of the many reasons as to why this shirt is awesome, in addition to being cheap from T.J. Maxx, the material is pretty awesome, and comfortable, and the shirt as a whole is pretty flattering (on me, I think).

It was definitely a great find and buy!

SHARP SHOES

Went to T.J. Maxx today...
Picked up some "sharp shoes" according to the woman in line in front of me.

I'm pretty excited about them.
Especially more so that I found them online for $98 at Endless
and purchased them for $40 at Maxx!

Definitely a good deal.
I cannot wait to break these suckers in.

FYI: Sizing, you all know my feet are big as hell, but I ended up getting these in a 10 and NOT an 11.
My feet are pretty skinny, and well my toes, they're the reason for all of my shoe problems... they're long. Surprisingly these shoes fit me perfectly. Walking on the 4in heel seems very easy, I'm assuming it's because of the 1/2in platform--I guess my feet will tell the tale tomorrow.
