It is now three days into the new year. If you have any resolutions, there is no better time than now to follow through or at least start working toward your goal(s). If you are desiring a career change, trying to rediscover yourself, trying to achieve your life dream or just looking to pamper yourself, then first take time to evaluate yourself, your current situation and what you can do to follow through with your resolution. Then, create a plan, calendar, map and/or list to help achieve your goal(s). Remember to be positive. Once you are on track, it is time to monitor your own progress, motivate yourself continually and reward yourself often. You can do anything you put your mind to if you are willing and dedicated to accomplishing your goal.

Your Resolution
So you have a New Year's resolution, just like every other year... only this year you vow to stick to it, right? It's tough to stick to some of our resolutions, like saving money, losing weight, organizing the home, etc. BUT all of these goals can be accomplished with focus~ think about what you want to accomplish first, then ACT upon it! This year is your year!
THINK.
1. Is your resolution realistic?
2. How will it affect others? (Stay away from ones that may be harmful to you or others.)
3. Why did you make this particular resolution?
4. What will you gain from sticking to this resolution?
5. How can you stay focused on achieving your goal?
6. Do you have a support system to help you?
7. What will you do to maintain your resolution?
ACT.
1. Personal time. Set aside time each day to focus on your resolution (without interruptions).
2. Remind yourself WHY your goal is so important to you.
3. Reward yourself. For each day of progress, reward yourself with something special.
4. Make fun. Your resolution activity should seem fun so you will stick to it.
5. The more progress you make the easier it will be to stick to your resolution for a longer period of time. Keep up the great work!!!
6. Believe in yourself!!! You can accomplish what you desire! It just takes some work, some fun and a lot of focus! :)
