I'm not quite sure that my humble little blog is capable of hosting such a large dose of stylishness without exploding. Despite my misgivings, though, I have still decided to put this post together. Ever since I discovered Florence + the Machine (I have Pandora to thank for this find) about 5 months ago, I've been obsessing over Florence Welch. She's been picking up media attention the past few weeks with being nominated for the Best New Artist Grammy, performing at the Grammy Awards, and most recently with performing at the Academy Awards only a few days ago, and I'm so happy for her that she's finally getting some proper recognition.
Wonderfully awesome voice aside, Florence has the most stellar sense of style that I've ever seen before (yup, I still use the word stellar. Made in the 90s, baby!). I wish I could say there is some sort of rhyme or reason to the following montage of pictures, but there isn't. Just go with it and enjoy!
It's official: if I could raid one celebrity's closet it would be hers. Have you ever seen so much fabulousness all in one place? I mean, just look at her! The shoes! The jackets! The dresses! The hair! The pale as death skin! Oh Florence, how do you do it?
Man, she is really making me want to get bangs. I'm so lazy about going to get my hair cut, though, and bangs need frequent maintenance, especially brow-grazers like those.

Music Monday: Florence + the Machine
I know it's cheesy as heck, but I'm going to start doing Music Monday!
So for my first week of Music Monday, I'm going to introduce you to my best friend (in my head), Florence Welch.
Florence is my new favorite female artist. Before yesterday I had never heard of her, but now she's my favorite. Funny how that works.
In general when I listen to a CD, there are usually 5 or so songs that I really like, and the rest are just kinda... meh. Not so with miss Florence. I've listened to all of her songs several times each and none of them have started to get old yet.
Lungs
1. Dog Days are Over*
2. Rabbit Heart (Raise it Up)
3. I'm Not Calling You a Liar
4. Howl
5. Kiss with a Fist*
6. Girl with One Eye
7. Drumming Song*
8. Between Two Lungs
9. Cosmic Love*
10. My Boy Builds Coffins
11. Hurricane Drunk
12. Blinding
13. You've Got the Love
*Certified awesome by me
And because I love you all so much, I linked every single one of those songs to the YouTube videos. None of the ones I linked are to her music videos because my computer is being stinky at the moments and won't load those pages for some reason, but you should look them up because they are awesome!
So anyways, check her out and let me know what you think!
