If you've been following my blog longer than a month this is old news to you, but my Papaya Art calendar is definitely on my favorite purchases I've made in a long while. I still can't believe it was only $14. And once the year is over, I can cut out all of the pictures and use the prints for whatever else I want because it's printed on really nice, thick cardstock-type paper, not the flimsy gloss stuff. The 2011 calendars are now gone from the Papaya site, but they've added the 2012 ones (we're already 1/3 through 2011... can you believe it?), so you can check them out HERE and start planning ahead for which one you want.
Also, my best friend Janell and I went out for lunch yesterday since she was home from college for the weekend and she gave me my birthday present. I wouldn't normally post about it, but since it's pretty darn similar to Papaya Art I though it would fit well here.
Gorgeous, am I right? She got it at this awesome art site she found called Society6. There are lots of different styles there, but many of them kind of have a Papaya Art feel to them, especially this one. It's a really nice size, too.Not sure where I'm going to put it yet. Between my picture wall above my bed and my Papaya panels above my desk, and now this, my room is kind of turning into an art gallery. I'm totally OK with that, though.
