Usually when I tell people that one of my favorite bands is Vampire Weekend, I get funny looks because most people assume they are a death metal band or some other crime against humanity like that. But Vampire Weekend is actually very laid back and, well, indie. You have to hear them to know what I mean.
Please Note: Some of the following songs include profanity. If you're not cool with that, simply don't listen. I don't like swearing and generally limit my own profaning to when I ram my foot into the doorway or something similar, but I'm not going to not listen to a certain band because of a few bad words. I don't know why I felt compelled to say that, but I did. So there! :)
