


I had to sow this by hand so it took forEVER. The under-layer was made of a stretchy black fabric and the dress had an an over-layer of fine white silk net. It was then finished off with a stripe of orange satin on the arms but I don't have a picture of that yet although I used it for th 3rd year design end of year exhibition in brick lane. I know the belt sort of disappeared in the net... but that's the dress standing up.
This is the bag I made to go with the previous net dress and used the same orange satin. It is lined with orange felt and the buttons are saltwater pearls. I also had black shoes, which had a layer of the same net and an orange satin square at the front. It doesn't exist any more though.
