

This dress is quite short, mainly due to the fact that there wasn't enough fabric to work with. It has a lampshade neckline as a play on the lampshades on the fabric. Unfortunately you can see the zip on the side, I kind of kick myself for it but I learned from it! Here I am wearing the dress on the day we arrived at the Hotel for Jemma's and Aiden's wedding. I have also worn this dress to my sister's graduation, but can't find the pictures...
This is one of the lessons I took away with me from watching the tailor. As soon as I was able to make my own dresses, not just design, I made sure to conceal the zip.
