Style Inspiration: Tory Burch Pre-Fall 2011

What a fun collection!
Things I Like:
-The colors, especially in the last row.
-The prints.
-The striped dress and the striped top in the last row. I'll take them both, please.
-Heels over socks. There's something so easy-going and relaxed looking about that combination.
-The shorts. So stinking cute.
-The long oatmeal cardigan in the center of the last row. Cozy? I think yes.
-All of the purses and bags.
-The laying.

Things I Don't Like:
-That last jacket. I think there is a pretty dress under there but I can't tell :(
-The hat. Not a fan.
-All of the pants, which I think are rather unflattering, even on the skinny model. Is that last pair in the bottom row sweats?

Style Inspiration: Moschino Pre-Fall 2011

Moschino did a really beautiful photo shoot for this line with their models standing inside of a giant frame, but considering there are about 35 pieces to show, I had to crop them down (I left the one above alone so you can see the big frame. Ain't it purty?).

Anyways, I LOVE this line. I think it's my second favorite from all of the Pre-Fall collections (from the ones I've looked at so far). There are some really gorgeous colors in here, and they are styled beautifully. I like the range of separates and dresses, and I don't know if Moschino designed them or not, but the shoes are killer.

If I could pick one look to make my own, I'd have to choose the black and gold trench jacket (3rd row, 2nd from the right) providing the tights and shoes were included. I also love the pink sweater and plaid skirt combo that is next to it, though.

Style Inspiration: Luca Luca Pre-Fall 2011

Luca Luca is another label I had not heard of before, but as I scanned through the pictures of all of the Pre-Fall collections on Style.com, this one really stuck out to me. I love the soft color palette with the grays and creams, and then the pale blues and the two rich red pieces add a few punches of color. It just all looks so clean, like they are drawings instead of real clothing.

The red and pale blue coats (1st and 3rd row) are both personal favorites from this collection, but if I got to pick one piece, I'd probably chose the dress with the blue skirt and white top (3rd row, second from the left).

Style Inspiration: Nina Ricci Pre-Fall 2011

I've never been a fan of the Nina Ricci ads in Vogue (seriously, it's like she's trying to super hard to make her clothes look ugly), but I love the clothes themselves. The clothes are edgy but still wearable, and the color palette is perfect. I kind of want to try wearing a floppy hat now. I probably won't though, because I'm a turkey.

If Nina Ricci rose from the dead and asked me if I'd like to have an outfit for free from this collection, I'd say, "Gee thanks, Ms. Ricci! I'll take that red skirt and blue top combo, please!" (3rd row, second look). That blue top is insanely gorgeous... I want it pronto! And though the shoes used throughout the collection aren't really my taste, the red heels with the ankle strap are perfect and I would like a pair in every color.

Enjoy!

Style Inspiration: ADAM Pre-Fall 2011

I had never heard of this brand before, so I looked it up and ADAM is the fashion label created by Adam Lippes. This is a small collection, but I (mostly) love what I see, and with some cool styling I'd wear (almost) any of these pieces. The final piece, the floor length gown, is stunning and I would like to be married in it. OK, so not really, but I love it.
I'll definitely be adding this guy to my list of designers to watch!

Style Inspiration: Jason Wu Pre-Fall 2011

To a certain extent I've been trying to keep up with the 'Pre-Fall' (whatever that means) collections that the 'designers' (whoever they are) have been putting out over the past month or so. Style.com is nice enough to review every collection and post pictures of every look, which makes it easy for lazy people like me who don't want to have to hop around to 20 different sites to look for pictures.

Out of all of the collections I've seen so far, though, Jason Wu's offerings are by far my favorites. His collection consisted of 27 looks, and there were only 3 or 4 that I wasn't particularly fond of. The rest of the looks I love. Love love love, and a pinch of adoration thrown in as well. The colors are perfect. The shapes are perfect. The whole thing is just perfect. I'll take two of everything, por favor.

Most of the looks:

When I die, can I please be buried in that last dress? Tell Jason Wu it was my dying wish.
