ROOMMATE LOVE

Why do I love Roommate G?
Because she makes me coffee in the morning.
Roommate G has been my LIFE SAVER this week.

Why does Roommate G love me?
Well that question/answer combo is easy.
I bought the coffee pot with a 'delay brew' setting.
So now, when Roommate G wakes up her coffee is ready for her :)

Now if only Roommate G could figure out a way for my coffee to be served to me intraveiniously during my morning commute...

Now that is

In the coffee shop...

Wednesday is an awesome day. I go to the post office if I need to, and then hang out in my favorite coffee shop for an hour or so before work. Today was business as usual, so after walking back from the post office in the GLORIOUS, GLORIOUS sunshine, I took my usual seat at the back of said coffee shop to wait for my 16oz. mocha to be made. And then I looked to my left, and lo and behold this is what I saw mere inches from my face:
This is the face I make when I'm sitting next to a psycho bunny picture.
A nice scenic picture to sip my coffee by, no?

That would be the end of this tale of the coffee shop, but I also must share my woe over being tricked into eating peanut butter this morning. When I was ordering my mini donuts, the girl behind the counter said they were "chocolate with a peanut on top", and since I like chocolate and I like peanuts, that seemed like a win win, right? Wrong. Because hiding under that layer of gooey yummy chocolate was a filling of peanut butter. Gag. me.
This is the face I make when I have just eaten something that makes me want to vomit.
Don't ask me why I like peanuts but not peanut butter. I have no clue.

Anyways, I might have taken them back and asked for different ones, but it was almost time for me to go and I saw a lady from church so I just gave them to her. My pain was her gain, I suppose.

I Am Going to DIE.

I drink coffee every morning. That is not negotiable. I get my coffee one of two ways.
1. My mom makes some for me.
2. I buy it at the coffee shop two shops down from my work.

Some days I do one of the above, and on the other days I do both. But I always do at least one.

Today was a buying day. I left 10 minutes early so I would be sure to get to work with enough time to get my 16oz. mocha. Everything was going swimmingly well, until I made the MORONIC decision to hold the door of the coffee shop open for a group of not one, not two, not three, but four ladies, who promptly rushed into line in front of me. So instead of being 1st in line, I was 5th. I was a bit concerned, but I decided I still probably had enough time.

Then, each of the 4 ladies went on to order their fancy-pants 20oz. triple chocolate, blah blah blah coffees, along with sandwiches, and they all ordered and paid separately. My entire 10 minutes was spent in line, and it was time for me to go to work.

Sad. Day. No coffee. I am embarrassed to say it, but I literally shed a tear when I got in to work, because I want coffee.

Not making matters better is the fact that I have been at work for 30 minutes now, and no one has come in and no one has called. At least if someone had come in right at 10 it would have made me feel a little better about not getting my coffee. But no. No one.

I may not survive this day.
