Blogger Spotlight- Brittiny Stewart

Recently we sat down and met with fashion blogger Britttiny Stewart of Fashion Of Philly for this month's blogger spotlight. Stewart is a graduate of the Art Institute of Philadelphia with a degree in Fashion Marketing! She uses her education and passion for fashion to stay involved in all of the cities industry events, while building a name for herself.

1.) Where are you originally from?

I'm originally from Willingboro, NJ, a small community in South Jersey that I feel is a great distance from everything from Philly to the Shore, New York City to Baltimore.

2.) What is your goal for fashion of Philly?

My goal for Fashion of Philly is to unite the fashion lovers of the Philadelphia tri-state area and to make others aware of what Philly has to offer from a fashion point of view. At first I was a little hesitant about representing a blog about Philadelphia fashion, since I'm not from Philly, but I graduated from The Art Institute of Philadelphia in 2010 and I always spent I lot of time in Philadelphia so why not. I'm sure there are tons of people that write about New York fashion that don't live in New York so why can't I write about Philadelphia.

3.) Where do you get inspiration?

I get my inspiration from anywhere and anything. My family and I do a lot of traveling and I love bringing back souvenirs like jewelry, a cool t-shirt, or even the pictures that I took to reflect where I've been. I also great inspiration from magazines like Nylon, Harper's Bazaar, and W, also fashion books and styling sites like Fresh Fruits, The Sartorialist and lookbook.nu as well as other fashion bloggers from around the world.

4.) What projects are you working on currently?

Currently I am working on trying to make my site look more editorial with elements like style shoots and more interviews. On the grander scale of things, in November, Fashion of Philly will be celebrating their 1 year anniversary and I would to host an event to celebrate with those who have helped my along the way.

5.) What it is your twitter, fb, and any other website you want readers to know about?
